Look how far I have to go.  'Course, I'm stitching with a machine on this, just a straight stitch, but still.....

Materials

When I make my quilts, I tie with perle cotton for the most part.  I have been know to use  a DMC length of twisted threads. I never did hand quilt, and am to stingy to pay someone.  I just recently learned to transfer patterns onto fabric.  The quilt I am working on now, which I don't have pictures of, has been tied but not finished.  I can't decide between knife edged and bound.  I've always done knife edge before because binding cost so much.   I am aware that I can make it myself, but really don't have the desire to.
